I know it has a SE and EA bias but you may like to see my offering over on the other thread, which I've copied below.

A pleasant afternoon on Gyllyngvase beach here in Falmouth yesterday (Sunday), doing some volunteering work. A light warmth off the sun and a bit of shelter from the breeze provided some very pleasant spells. Quickly cooled as the sun began to set though! :)

Miserable here today, with steady moderate rain.

Currently 10.2c but it doesn't feel that mild. Wind has yet to be an issue however.

I don't care what the thermometer said today, it felt blinking cold in that wind.

On a completely separate note, got to work today to find the barns adjacent to the garden had gone up in flames last night, a whole winter's worth of animal feed gone up in smoke just because some numpty fancied setting it on fire. What on earth possesses people to cause such wanton destruction? The poor farmer's at his wits end worrying how on earth he can feed his hundreds of pregnant Ewes over the winter. Makes oi cross!!

I totally agree it felt cold today. Horrible day!

I think we got up to around 13c here earlier, but it really didn't feel like much more than 7c.

Now we have that fine drizzle that soaks you within seconds.

It's the way it goes when you get LOWs with warm sectors, very often they are timed to bring maxxes overnight, it happened last Friday too.

Looks like we're in for a lot of rain in the next 24+hours with several pulses running along the Cold Front later today and overnight after a more

showery/drizzly warm sector through the day. Original forecasts had the front moving away overnight, but this morning's Points West bulletin showed

heavy rain for the whole night across the West Country.

I think today's a good day to go back to bed.....I wish. It's lashing it down here and has been for most of the night.

Yuk. What a lousy morning down here today. Wet, windy and very mild 12.7C with continuous rain with poor light levels. Getting on for 10mm overnight.

Vile morning, dank, grey and with occasional bursts of drizzly rain making the morning commute down the M5 rather depressing, but it is very mild.

When I last looked, The output was hinting at a pretty stormy Thursday into Friday so will be keeping tabs on that one. good.gif

A model output tease a065.gif maybe, but I think it may be onto something?

As ever, my eyes are drawn to the red (mean) lines.
