BBC forecast just showed the precipitation to be about half snow and half rain over the east at 5AM tomorrow, could be interesting for some come the morning.

Rain just about to arrive, conditions:

Dew Point: -0.9

Temperature too warm at the moment, although hasnt risen for the last 30 minutes which is good, just hope it can start falling again.

Yup, it was going straight over my house and dumped about a foot of snow!

It's all looking fantastically promising for us - have even broken out the Christmas CD... I don't mind having to wait for a week, or a couple of weeks, as long as we get there in the end. And best of all, this thread is a troll-free zone! Really, some of the comments on the Model thread beggar belief.

Just watched Mr Cockup on BBC London.

Rain until midnight. Wintry mix being shown north of London come 6am.

He mentioned temps will continue to rise through this evening before dropping again after midnight.

Few showers tomorrow and dry Saturday and Sunday he then went on to say another wintry mix moving in Sunday night.

Bring on next week when the real cold comes!

Had ice on the ground here right up until about 4pm, then a rapid warm up to 5.3c before those showers running up the Channel hit. Now moderate rain falling and back down to 3.3c

The real cold arrives Sunday/Monday Next week. We are looking potentially at a very very cold and windy time ahead. Ah and Yes "SNOW".
