Still Raining in Rosewell Midlothian. sorry.gif

I can't tell if it's very light drizzle here or tiny tiny snow, but ground very wet. Will have to go to bed soon either way. Hopefully we'll both see snow soon

You have to laugh at some of the comments on the MT, winter seems to be over some people seem to think.

Back from the north now, a few days of moderately wintry mayhem with temps between -1C and 1C for the entire period. Ice bulges and untreated roads fun.

Couple of snaps from the drive home this evening... Wasn't entirely sure I was going to make it but just 'ploughed on' regardless. ABS clicking frantically on the steep decsent down to the busy main road and deer jumping around in like kangaroos all over the road while I tried to avoid the steep drop to the left were 2 highlights.

Blimey, that looked a bit hairy......".Hairy"!laugh.png

Yes, still snowing here and quite heavy actually. Pity it's going to mild up over the weekend. Still, next week to look forward to.

Great to read of the continued snow reports, drizzle, rain and some sleet here this evening. Thinking about snowing but not quite there yet.

Ice skates at the ready ! Some utter mince in the Model Thread today and as Chiono said the Netweather Bin is overflowing with rotten posts..!

Good to see the positive side of Winter alive and well in here smile.png

Look at that trough - direct hit !!!! BOSH !

Since I'm not an experienced chart reader, are you being sarcastic?

Yes, sorry, that black line in the easterly flow is a trough, which is associated with a band of precipitation, and with the 528 thickness line so far west, that would most likely bring quite a lot of snow....

Early days yet and it may change but I was just highlighting how ridiculous some of the comments on the MT are tonight.

Thanks very much, it's hard to tell between the deliberate trolls and the ones who just genuinely don't see what's going on.

Judging by the traffic cams it's chucking it down at Dunblane. No snow here today, just dull and wet. A lot of snow cover has melted but there's still a decent covering on quite a few surfaces.

Can't see it november13 but I'm in Kelty just 5 mins from Cowdenbeath.

That's bizarre. It is heavy here now should get 2 hours out of this!

Heavy rain but temperature starting to drop and wouldn't be surprised to see it turn to sleet soon 2.6c/1.4c.

Just give it half an hour it started as light rain here. Once the back stuff comes in it's snow!
