Nothing here in Northampton, tbh I was not expecting anything we always looked to be a little too far East for today's precip.

Patchy cloud at the moment but feeling a lot colder.

You should be well placed for the Monday event though, fingers crossed good.gif

Some twist and turns yet, Bish. I hope all of us in the Mids get some good action.

Cloudy and cold here, no sign of snow at present and I don't expect it today here. It does look good here for Sunday night onwards though, with the GFS modelling several hours of snow in two bands. Hopefully I am far enough NE in the Midlands for it to be entirely of snow.

EDIT: I am in Belper, Derbyshire.

Easing off now here, anyone just getting up would think its been raining as its so damp. Dare I ask whats the chance of snow here i. Shrewsbury Monday? I hope we dont get another Feb 4th 2012 when we had hours of rain and ice pellets at 0c whenn 30 miles away was heavy snow!

Precipitation fizzling out here and down around Bristol now...the real heavy south is down towards Cornwall (as if they need it).

So I reckon that's it for today...but what a nice little surprise anyway!

Just a reminder that you can put your location as your signature, which helps everyone keep track of where people are reporting snow (or lack of) from :)

Remember that wellcray.gif

We're not best placed for snow are we! Which in turn means we're not best placed for rain?tease.gif

Why can't you see where people live under their names anymore. it was very handy for snow watching, discussions about who has got what etc? :-)

You have to wonder how much the people who run the met office and bbc weather sites get paid . Neither were showing any snow for here this morning, yet its been snowing for a good hour here already. Not settling though.

They did say that parts of the South West Mids could see some rain to snow as the colder air cut in. they have got it spot on in my opinion.
