He has to be the worst forecaster ever, may be he should just look at the national forecast!!! What a t***.

he is one of the worst forecasters on TV IMO - very lazy. In the great snow event on Feb 09 he only "forecast" it when it was actually falling. He also gave one of the most misleading forecasts ever last Feb when he forecast minimal snow, which came as something of a surprise to people more than two miles from the centre, who spent the Sunday sledging.

Just got home and for the 1st time ever i noticed the information board on the A2 just before bluewater had

"SEVERE WEATHER INCIDENT

Friday 18th"

Can`t recall ever seeing that through any winter i know round here, didn`t even noticed anything like it in 2010. blink.png

Are we going to see any snow over night? There is a band on the radar that doesnt seem to be moving very fast.

Earlier I would have said not, but I think there may be a rogue warm sector lurking and trying to kick things off early. Still waiting to see how intense this becomes otherwise its first thing tomorrow still!

Peter Cockrot should be fired, even if he is right I just don't like his mildish attitude he constantly has during winter events. Besides he also doesn't do well at explaining things in why he feels as such. Think it's going to rain MR Peter? Then tell us why you think so

I think what the member above was saying was that he has now changed his mind. But you are right about his mildie attitude. Some of the others are no better though: Darren Bett? Alex Deakin?

has that band to the west stalled for tonight then. Not really moving east?

It's stalled on the Chilterns. Might push a little further west but not much IMO

Yet to hear anything positive for Mr Cockrot. The way he presents, he assumes the audience is full of 8 years olds...

I am supposed to be going for an evening out in Oxted (from Croydon) this evening- thought I was safe with everything starting tommorow but a bit worried we may be caught out and don't want to be driving home in snow - thoughts ?
