Take a wild guess. dry.png

I know I know, very frustrating, at least in your location, your not 5-8 miles away from the main event! How long this trough lasts for is anyone guess but I bet once it starts moving westwards again, it will ease off!

Surrounded by orange sky at the moment to my East and North, I just it can start producing the goods around here soon and that horrid weather front does not ruin the party.

Right I'm off to the chippy. If the radar hasn't improved by the time I get back, the cod gets it.

If we're VERY lucky... this is a lot later than it was forecast, isn't it? By that point we'll be 15cms down on everyone else.

Look man, people on the coast are well known for lying about their snow accumulations, and the radar is obviously broken.

On a serious note, SE airflow never delivers anything to Newton Aycliffe, Durham areas.

Latest here... consistent snow since 4.30 varying between 4 and 9 intensity. I have measured 5" snow on my decking. I guess about 3" of fresh snow. Temp -0.5. There is a conveyor belt of snow about 150 miles long heading my way. Awesome.....

A smattering of 10 flakes on the decking here in Keswick. Think yourselves lucky that you're in for significant snow tomorrow.

The BBC did downgrade this event this morning, the more organized band of snow that they had been showing had dissappeard.

When this was mentioned this morning people were up in arms on this thread saying they were wrong.

I guess the BBC were right.

I take it none of the people on here have looked at the Met Office site lately? It says light snow flurries tonight, light snow flurries tomorrow, and slight accumulations expected.

Not being funny but can you desist from posting pics until you learn to post them the right way up?
