How is it on that dodgy bend by the pub lol ?

Haha treacherous I can imagine!! (five mins up the road from us)

Local schools now closing. Great. Got to get to Stoke then back up to Nantwich... knew I should have kept them off today!!!

The wind has actually ensured my street has received literally nothing on the floor as we're sandwiched between houses. It's just over 7cm now.

Looks like the band is moving very slow north eastwards still unsure if it will reach just east of the pennies. But we still have a chance as the red warning zone has moved through quickly. I think the met office have Lettuceed up again!!

A poor call from the METO, certainly for the South and West of this region and the NW of the Midlands - 'light and patchy snow' ? I don't think so guys.

But you were under the amber warning Ian, which supersedes any other text forecasts, BTW you might struggle to get home from work the way its going!!!

It's stalled. The front has STOPPED same as last night's. Play the radar sequence from the last 25 mins. This is it guys. Shovels out!

Met Office will update soon, wonder if we'll get a red?

Some areas in the red warning over Wales have received 20cm+ of level snow, thats excluding drifts. Utter chaos with major disruption.

Front has moved 13 miles to the north over the last hour, will see if this trend continues or if the stall is already underway.

In the early hours of this morning I clocked it moving at 8MPH across Wales. It sped up a bit when it met the remnants of last nights snow. Seems to be moving now at pretty much the same rate it was moving earlier on.

Confused. Is this going to intensify? The moderate band of snow over the south of the region seems to be losing intensity
