Getting a bit heavier here in Marple (east Stockport) but still light. Don't know whether this is the band coming up from the SE or possible Humber streamer mentioned by Kev (would do well to get all the way across the Pennines!)

pretty large flakes in comparison to the dust stuff we have before.. sticking to vegetation but melting the snowcover weve had already.

My app shows us getting a battering from 3 until early hours with light snow this morn. It's been so accurate all week

could really do with this precip intensifying, still coming down as powder snow, light to moderate, but now little accumulation

meto forecast going for continued light snow widespread, but most of the heavier stuff over the pennines..any chance for brighter interludes will be to the west of the pennines and cumbria

It's the streamer from the east. A few slightly heavier echoes out there now, but still looks generally light.
