;No Warnings might be due to the fact it's the weekend and overtime would have to be handed out OR they don't know and are fence sitting.

The APPS however are now forecasting Heavy snow from 9am till 18:00 tomorrow but light snow tonight from midnight till then

Thanks for posting but is there any way of magnifying these charts on the iPhone? Looks like I am in the 6mm zone but can't quite make it out!

I basically took the NAE france snap as it shows better where the front will move.. (Subject to change)

I'm a newbie but should be mostly dry with some snow showers arriving tomorrow

It's frontal snow from the SE - it's not showers

How can Kent be 3 degress when the rest of us will be sub -5 ??? GFS has a screw loose...

I think these temp maps get confused when the pixel is half over the sea...

Would anyone be so kind as to provide a map with the direction of travel for the system coming from France, or have I missed one?

Absolutely and I urge some serious radar watching later tonight. We should see that depression starting to head across the channel by about 1-2 am (for night owls that is lazy.gif ).

You will indeed see some decent snowfall tomorrow. I'd say 5cm to 8cm in your location by the end of Sunday.

Should be ok. Only slightly marginal right on the coast so here it could be wet slushy snow (british snow) rather than dry powder snow inland
