Well its been snowing pretty steadily all day in Deal.... After a traumatic drive home from Maidstone this morning. Having to crash the car in to the Bay Tree in my front garden before the car made friends with the garden wall

Saw the forecast for potentially more tmrrw afternoon in these parts????

First time poster here, I'm loving the snow, still snowing here in Dagenham mod to heavy, we have had about 5cm here. Like most people on here I have been out with the kids, made two snowman and had a massive snowball fight GREAT FUN.

Guys the back edge is over Bognor up to basingstoke its EDGING slowley ENE at snails pace-

Ahead of it we have a column of heavy snow in these co-ordinates-

South western end- Brighton

Western end - Bracknell

Northern End - Luton ( & beyond)

South eastern End - Hastings

eastern End - Gravesend curving into South essex-

so if your in this band maybe another 2/3 hours- although thats for the eastern side- the western end another 1/2

Just measured 7cm on the Car.

Hubby went out to try and clear the drive way and our road. (steep hill) so he could get my son to school tomorrow. He gave up after half an hour, said 'the tiny flakes just keep laying on top of what he's already cleared. I told him not to bother. He's in the lounge with a hot coffee while i'm here at the computer with a nice strong lager.

Not really any settling snow from west london westwards - too warm really and anything landing on tarmac instantly melts so can't see Heathrow struggling, dropped the neighbour off earlier and got his flight to the States on time without issue.

Just been in the park. Still snowing quite heavily here and there's about 10cm on the grass including Friday's depth. Much more than I was expecting today.
