Yup I was just thinking the same, the snow line is creeping away form us very slowly though, I'd give it another 1 1/2 hours and I think that will be it for us for today...I am one happy camper ...for once we have been in about as good a spot as anywhere for snow :-)

And who knows we may still get more tomorrow ;-)

Looks like there is still plenty out there heading your way on the radar to me

You do not need to go far to find the 6cm + - We have crunchy snow underfoot and 2 big snowmen already which I will upload the pictures later, the road outside atm is a huge Parents v Kids snowball fight!

Talk about a kick to my frozen b@*#$cks! it's almost like we've got a snow colander over Burnham and only the fine snizzle makes it through - reminds me of Dec 10' when everybody else got biigger accumulations.

Tomorrow is an improvement on the 12z NAE, the suggested thaw is downgraded, and maybe a little more snow for one or two placessmile.png

Just heard 1 take off as well, Nutters!

Can't have been, the next scheduled departure isn't until 15:30 to Amsterdam, you must have heard the one struggling to land, he performed 2 go arounds which could have sounded like a take-off!

5cm in Gravesend, probably heaviest snow of the day now, temp has dropped slightly below freezing and road starting to get covered again.

Probably the heaviest it's been today, getting quiet exciting, no traffic around our un gritted crescent for over 3 hours, I expect the little slope is defeating everyone.

Yes, just over the river from you in Thurrock and I noticed the same thing. Here's hoping....

can I ask a question - is the snow generally heading now in a south to north direction?

Still coming down thick and fast here, grittier has been up the road twice but still the snow starts to settle again....Looks like we're being fed from between Brighton and Eastbourne....a Cuckmere Streamer maybe..??
