OK, I'm not being a killjoy, but its thawing here. Constant small flakes. About a 3mm covering. What's the point of the most issuing a warning.

Have you heard a loud bang in your area people reporting it around dearne etc could it be thundersnow, it was heard over quite a wide area.

If you look on the radar it looks like the front is constantly being fed from N/E France.

METO have us under it until Monday evening and they've got all the decent gear to know whats happening.

Is this just north of the region or for north lincs and south of Yorkshire?

Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Should turn back to snow soon as colder 850's undercut the front.

Temp in Leeds centre 0.3c, Temp here -0.7c

I wouldn't worry about high temperatures either, at inner city Osmondthorpe the temperature went from 1.1C to 0.3C in a short space of time.

The temperature has risen up to 1.5C again and it has turned back to sleet here.

Not that it makes much difference though, the snow was so wet it could fall all night and not lay on anything!

Lincs until about midday, S Yorks until mid afternoon.

Was looking at Lincoln for my dad and the last heavy snow was 3am, just take them as a rough guide though, they update

constantly but are computer generated.

Getting much heavier here now 3/10

do you agree with cheese rice comment?

Don't want to be a kill joy but the heavier stuff may miss or just skirt south Yorkshire, it depends how much the low pivots.???

As the fax chart showed it stalls over us all ??

I dont know what changes are coming or how its going to play out but something has to happen if its to turn out the way forecast by the METO et al.

From the radar i cant see heavy snow or even snow of any sort staying constant until midday Monday. We shall see.

It's almost stopped now. I've gone from having 5cm before the snow to 2cm, this snow event has been so bad that it's actually negatively accumulated.

Is this a wind up post? It hasn't even got going yet. doh.gif
