Wish i was on the N York Moors now in a tent, my idea of bliss, well, second best idea of bliss anyway.

Its hammering it down here, proper hammering it down 2010 style.

FINALLY we have bigger flakes and heavy snow. Actually settling now on cleared surfaces so maybe I can breathe a sigh of relief (for the moment).

Coming down bigtime now, so hopefully it will start to settle more now.

METO did say 00:00 for heavy snow and to continue till 12:00 and I will let them off for been 30 mins late. If this keeps up there will be a good covering.

Come on METO don't let the folk of scunny and north lincs down :)

Moderate snow for last hour or so. Temp been stuck at 0.1C DP -1C all evening but accumulating on top of existing 8cm cover nicely and starting to drift again with lots more bright echoes upwind. Can't see the kids' school being open if this carries on.

Wish i'd have gone to bed earlier! Temp is stuck now at 2.0C with a dew point of 1.9C.

Amazingly we keep getting bursts of heavy snow but the sleet in between just washes it away. Some real heavy stuff heading in now. Will be interesting to see what that does to the temps.

METO still have heavy snow and amber here until midday today and they've changed the heavy probability to 95% from 80% for midnight and 3am,

the rest are still 80% so far.

Where does it give you the probability?

Forget that I've just opened my eyes and seen. Doh!
