Looks from latest 5 min radar captures that the front is pivoting and pushing activity back to the south below Derby and Nottingham indicating that the development over the Wash should track WNW along the front and should hit somewhere between Sheffield and my area. Lots more development likely too in this situation so many more hours of (at least) moderate snowfall to come I think.

Its been Epic, more than Friday already and its been dumped on top of that cus hardly any had thawed.

Just turned to heavy falling lighter stuff but keeps picking back up quickly.

Honestly I nearly went to bed at 11 as it was pants here, I was gutted. Not the deepest amount and gutted that during the day a lot of the standing snow had melted and then between 9-11pm the majority of it had been washed away with the slow start to this amazing turn around

Well Leeds is forecast heavy snow untill 11am according to met office so there must be something in that ppn around the wash. Even if we don't get it, I'm so happy with the snow that's fell, it was looking so bad at one stage earlier in the night.

We're back in business with heavy falling again, the stream from the Wash is being bent like Beckham right into us.

Ploughs just gone past at warp speed and buried the cars in a wall of flying snow, the roads already covered again.
