It is watch east of the system then nearer to IOW its slowly making it north which is good.

It is mate, just very slightly, it's a good thing though. Looking like a whole night of snow going by how slow it's moving.

Met office downgraded from heavy snow tonight to light snow.

Wish it would snow, much prettier to look at than boring rain. All the snow has gone after the day of rain as well.

What an upgrade for Swindon! This morning was saying about 4 hours of snow, and now we're in for about 12, with some of it being heavy!

It's definitely edging north, taking an age, but once it arrives the slowness will be a good thing!!, Good rotation as well, could hang around for a while.

NAE had the ppn reaching Glos between 6-12 then staying all night!

Rain makes no difference to snow settling (with a decent intensity) It's all about surface temperatures.

The steady rain has over the last 15 minutes been changing to sleet with bits of snow. I haven't got my weather station up at the moment, so having to rely on http://www.sotonmet.co.uk for temps which is showing a decrease.

The other half reports heavy snow around Poole at the moment.
