It's definitely edging north, taking an age, but once it arrives the slowness will be a good thing!!, Good rotation as well, could hang around for a while.

NAE had the ppn reaching Glos between 6-12 then staying all night!

Im confident in the NAE . Considering its only 2 hours away on the models ( and close on the radar ) its looking good so far.

Met office downgraded from heavy snow tonight to light snow.

maybe that indicates it now wont get much of a north push?

Heavy snow now in kinson Bournemouth, Shame it wont settle after all this rain!

If it comes down heavy enough it will settle. Seen it before.

My Met Office latest forecast says I should only have heavy rain now, with some sleet around midnight. So I guess this snow now is a bonus! Hope it stays as snow through the night

And if any other southerners were wondering what the whiff in the air is today. Have a read of this.

I smelt it earlier and wondered what it was. Thought neighbour mystic been spraying something.

This snow is heavier than Friday, certainly didn't expect that here. Some of the flakes must be 2" wide. ohmy.png

Looking at the 3.45 Met office Radar the very heavy stuff (reds appearing) "looks" to be heading pretty much in our direction, the whole band also looks pretty epic to be honest.

Also as we are further north and the band is pulling in colder air, and it's getting towards nigh time this could be pretty dam good if we are lucky.

Cant look, lol.

NAE for 6-12pm

So poole has been forecast for rain this entire time but it is chucking it down of snow so does that mean it will stay snow all evening?
