It so marginal evrewhere seems anything is possible its just pot luck what falls out of the sky at the moment in a space of a minute, i have had snow, rain, sleet, now hail, lol gd luck to all.

freezing rain is effective, very rare leaves everything icy/white, not mentioned though on bbc/meto etc

any areas in the west midlands currently having snow will see ppn rapidly change to freezing rain and then plain old rain...Dew points generally are at or just below 0C, but more importantly T850's are generally now just above 0C, which makes snow an impossibility (snow flakes will melt in air temps above 0C below the WBFL - even if surface temps/dewpoints are below freezing all you'll get is re-frozen raindrops)

Game over here in Evesham , dewpoints and temps rising steadily.I think anywhere North of Brum and East of Warwickshire will get some snow but even here, its not gonna last ,probably a slushy mix here in the morning!!sorry.gifmega_shok.gifrofl.gifblum.giffool.gifnea.gif
