All the people on model thread saying charts are rubbish because there's no snow for them.

Most of those that keep moaning because they keep missing out on Snow are usually living in locations like Devon or Cornwall.

These areas see very little Snow most winters.

Very confused regarding Sunday/Monday, looks like it will be snow here but there seems to be a lack of precipitation looking at GFS. Out working in the van all over places on both days so hoping for some fun!

Always Wednesday to look forward to if this event becomes a damp squib help.gif

Our Frosty of Wakefield seems to be one of only a few sane heads over in that thread...

The Low hasn't formed yet, so no real point in stressing ourselves out (just yet!).....

Right the GFS/NAE/NMM all look poor on the latest update the low is further south west and inevitably we miss out on any meaningful precipitation, anything that does fall is projected to be a sleety wet mixture.

Fingers crossed the pendulum swings in our favour tomorrow.

Well according to bbc sheffield will have 12 hours heavy snow, christ will it be wellies to the left trouser leg house lol. One thing , weve had some snow event this winter, certainly not the worst!

If there's one thing I've learned this winter, never take any notice of what the BBC weather site says, especially regarding snowfall. I've seen it forecast the snow wrong at an hour out.

Tomorrow is make or break for us, let's hope a big push east, and a small push to the south (keep the Southerners happy. (fingers crossed)

I am expecting this to happen and I predict 10cm for Leeds from Sunday-Monday. 15cm+ for areas above 200m.

Sounds good! :)

Snow update now , i have contacted al the netwerk service from me.

I am 100 % convinced for heavy snow in nord Engeland , midlands , driftsnow en the snow will go some further south .Also Schotland ect

Every possible heavy snow 10-20 cm or more with chanse of drifting.

EXcept the main south en soutwest ,but that is unclear to me.

From studying the moon that will happen in 2042, details are uncertain however but expect around 30cm.

This seems to be going tits up! We were supposed to be the sweet spot in a year when Sheffield had a snow magnet in force.

Even the easterly seems to have been reduced significantly to mean that convective snow will be a coastal feature. I hope im wrong but the uppers on the ecm model are not as good.

But maybe as the storm develops more adjustments north are made and this will influence the upstream signals.

Otherwise a great winter in Sheffield. With a job involving driving around Yorks, i can tell you weve done well for snow here so cant be dissapointed.
