I think Leeds are having sleet! It may turn more to snow when its gets late on and temperatures have dropped. Depends how long quickly/slowly it moves away or fizzles out though.

LOL lot of half empty glasses on here right now. Pity this rain isn't snow we'd have a pretty nice depth by now.

Anyway if John H is right nothing more for us today and will have to wait until later this week.

Finally joined the rain fest, well sleety rain anyway, temps jumped from around 0.0C to 1.8C and thats all folks.

I blame the septic tanks, they nicked all the snow, nobody needs 2-3ft of the stuff.

I reckon we will see a little later for Sheffield - snow is likely above about 200m this afternoon with 1-2cm possible. After 18:00 snow levels will drop with most places potentially seeing a covering of 1-3cm, with a further 2-5cm at higher elevations. The snow should have petered out by around 07:00 am Mon Morning .

Yes im still hopefull of some snow later. I woke up to a cm or so on the ground up here but since then it has been very light drizzle only.

To me it looks like quite a bit of the front has gone past us north east, so with it expected to pivot and then pull south that lot should come back accross as snow once the temps have dropped later and the colder air is being pulled in :)
