All looks a bit pear shaped now compared to yesterdays NMM I'd be surprised if the projected totals came off now. Surprisingly temperatures are rising across the region, I expected a slow fall throughout the day. Not game over just not a very good start, will see how the day progresses.

Tricky conditions out there currently in York, light rain that is making everything a bit slippy under foot.

Light Snow falling here but struggling too settle. Just managing the grass and the tops of cars. Very marginal here so wouldn't take much to shift it back to rain.

Glass half empty as usual PIT good.gif Dew points set to fall as day goes on as per my earlier post.

Snowing steadily here covering slowly.

Still raining and temperature has now shot up to 2.3c. It's looking like a squib of the damp variety at the moment!

Just drove from Stocksbridge where there is around 1 cm of lying snow on gardens not tarmac - where Temps where at -1 to Mosborough where it is just all rain and temps at +3 . Prob at its warmaest atm though so I think the temps will start to lower within next 2 hours ,still bags of ppn left on the radar.

What a difference a bit of altitude makes aggressive.gifblum.gif

You're not wrong, i love it here, time and again we have snow when everywhere around us gets rain, especially Barnsley 6 miles away.

I can see a bit of Sunday afternoon drive snow tourism coming our way.

If thats not jinxed it i dont know what will, although its really heavy now at 0.2C. yahoo.gif
