Rain here,no idea of temp or dew points,had sleet about an hour ago,fingers crossed,meanwhile 15 miles up the road heavy snow being reported

is there going to be heavier precip coming through? only asking as i thought this is ment to continue untill the early hours, still snowing here although fine flakes, but moderate

It was sleeting with the odd big flake here about 30mins ago in Epsom but not a lot going on now - Met site still says no to snow for the majority of Surrey so what do we think on here as I prefer your interpretarions, lol!!x

Awful day

No, no, no I live 5 mins and I can see a real sleety mix with heavy bursts of wet snow.

Unsure of the temp and DP cant find a site that does it in decimals.

We may have to wait a bit longer, Cambs tends to struggle when its marginal.:-)

Dew Point -1.7

Roads now white too!!

Could we be in a sweet spot???

With those temps and dp's I'd say yes if the ppn keeps coming!

Snowing for last hour but not heavy..... Big flakes temp 0.3c dew -1c slush on cars and shed roof..... If it was heavier would probably start laying......

I am off to North Carolina in August.. What is their tornado and serve weather like at that time of year?

Depends if you get a lanfalling Hurricane really, if these track up the east coast and become a Tropical system as they move inland then could be Tornadoes embedded in the band, otherwise very hot and not notably stormy!
