Does anybody know if Derbyshire will see any snow ? Thankyou

Yes you should do later, it's snowing here in N/Derbyshire atm

Edit,, infact you are only 8 or so miles from me, you should see your rain turn to snow very soon, topo is helping me as you are a little lower maybe 220m..?

Snow flakes just started in south leicester!!

To be fair NMM doesn't have snow showing up till 7pm. So i'll be patient.

I've not posted but I have been following the thread the last couple of days, some great banter btw.

Temperatures here have gone from, 4.9 this morning to 3.7 earlier, and I've just been out again and it's now 2.1. So the signs are looking promising at the moment. The rain has been relentless all day, but there's definate signs of change, I'm hoping to sea a change to more snow like precipitation in the next hour or so

It keeps alternating between snow, sleet, & rain here :)

I'm confused - I didn't think snow was possible until the dew point was zero or below? My local (i.e. four miles away) weather station still shows the DP at 1.0c above freezing?
