Yes, and this must be what they call "disruptive snow" cos I have done o work this morning.....

AT 1.1C, DP -0.2C. Still hammering down with 2-inch feathery flakes. Starting to settle on grass and cars. Wish it didn't have to end.

2.5c and dropping as I type! Heavy sleet with large snowflakes mixed in. What a surprise! The Snow God is gracious and kind (sometimes)

Rain earlier turned to sleet then wet snow just before 12, which surprised me as the temperature is 3.0C & dew point is 2.8C! Snow was moderate for a while but nothing settled & seems to have stopped now. So those further west questioning their high dew points you may be in for a surprise

it may just reach here but its hell watching radar it seems to be creeping ever south ,typical but good for others ,its that M4again about time it was demolished .FROME SEEMS TO BE A HOT SPOT ALOng WITH SALISBURY AREA .sorry caps lock stuck .we need a bit of luck on wednesday event ,could go pear but atleast we do have proper cold now for a while ,as for extended outlook ,i expect some big modell variations with high pressure playing a big part but centre of highs very critical .EDIT snow flakes now falling , thats my fix for today ,heres hoping later tonight brings us some nice snow showers from n/west ,cheers

That's how it started here, and it's turned into an hour of some of the heaviest snow I've ever seen! Still going strong now although the flakes beginning to get a bit smaller.
