Great news Tom and John I liked your post but not your forecast! The ground is very wet round here and more rain could may well start causing some problems. Hard to believe year ago we were in a drought.

hi jules

sorry about the flood bit

i try not to go down the watch route

however there is quite a lot of rain showing at present

lets hope the low gets placed different tomorrow or lessens the amount

Really happy to share some good news with you tonight, as you're such a friendly crowd. My son and daughter finally got confirmation today of a move to a more suitable property, on medical grounds.

Its been a tough few years for them and nice to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

The property is fully adapted to meet my sons needs and is a great relief for us all round, as our present accommodation is totally inappropriate now, as it has internal and external stairs and he has great problems with his balance.

The property is newly built on a nice developement in Chislehurst, in a much nicer area and we will have a brand new shiny Bromley postcode to boot, rather than the old London one. A bonus too, we will be more than double the elevation we have at the moment! (Only joking). Spies some possible snow days! Slightly more awkward journey to work in Croydon but the pros far outweigh the cons

So we're a really happy household in SE20, tonight!drinks.gif

Regards,

Tom.

Excellent news ! 😀

There seems to be more warm members in the ensembles today, yesterday almost nothing was above the red average line.

As much as I am enjoying this volatile Spring weather, I cant wait for summer. Ooops, just noticed this was taken in October, but you get my drift !!

A cold clear and calm night- perfecto for looking at the sky.

Just a heads up, hot air balloon flying over central London tomorrow morning. Worth keeping an eye put on your commute could be a shape balloon!

Good News and glad to hear Tom!

Morning all!

-2.0 °C on the drive this morning scrapping thick frost off the 'screen, -3.0 °C in rural parts of Sussex and the little yellow light on my dash was flickering a few times as rubber and asphalt lost direct contact for a few brief seconds!!

Morning all :) it looks so bight and sunny out today and everything has a layer of frost on it. Not ventured out yet but guaranteed its flipping cold out there!!!!

Congratulations Tom! I was brought up in Chislehurst (not far from Elmstead Woods St.) It's a lovely area to grow up in. I've also got a son with additional needs and I totally understand what it's like when your home doesn't support those needs. We've spent a fortune on adapting our home to the point we couldn't move even if we wanted to! All worth it though as we'd do what ever it takes to get him what he needs as I'm sure any parent would. Good luck with the move :)
