-1deg snowing 3 inch already,blowing. maybe first real blizzard since 1995.working out today at 250m should be interesting

White-out conditions here, strong winds with mod/heavy drifting snow, around 15 cm level snow and drifts up to 50cm. An overnight low of -1.4c. Really is like mid-winter out there...

Snow wet continued through the night, moderate at times producing a thin cover. The day dawned cloudy and windy with light to moderate wet snow. The morning saw more moderate wet before turning light then just the odd flake falling around observation, Feeling bitterly cold in the fresh to strong east wind. Snow depth 2.5cm, 65%

A good deal of cloud persisted overnight with a few cloud breaks appearing just before dawn. Low –0.5c with –2.4c on the grass. The day dawned partly cloudy with a widespread frost. The morning to observation has been mainly sunny as the rest of the low cloud thins and breaks up. There were further sunny spells for a short time through the morning, but high cloud soon made the sun hazy and with mid level cloud also building the sun disappeared well before lunch. The afternoon was cloudy and dry and feeling cold in an increasing east wind. High 5.1c briefly, falling through the afternoon. The evening began cloudy and dry. Light snow commenced around 22:00 GMT.

A cloudy night with light snow arriving around 2230 and becoming moderate at times during the early hours, the snow drifting in the strong E wind.

Currently cloudy with continuous light snow.

Well Snowaggeddon has failed to arrive. Mostly light Snow a heavier period for an hour around 08:30 before it turned light then stopped. Now cloudy and dry.

After an hour or so with no falling snow light snow has resumed. Still plenty of drifting in the strong E wind. Temp' according to the Davis on the roof mast is -0.4c. Mean undrifted depth is a little over 10cm.

As just posted in regional thread TM, around 10cm here now as some surface snow has melted. Drifts 1.5m+ in the fields. An interesting evening coming up..

Very heavy snow with white-out blizzard conditions and drifting here, around 15cm of level snow and drift's up 2m in the field's around me.

currently -2 deg and snowing medium winds snow depth 6 inch,just been up tops to 400m plenty of blocked minor roads nearly put rangy through wall in drifts had to back up as a ford ranger stuck in a big drift plenty of drifts 2m deep some roads will be wall to wall in morning

A cloudy and very cold day with a strong to gale force E wind. The early morning snow became light by 0930 and remained light until around 1600 when moderate-heavy snow set in.

True blizzard conditions on the tops in the stronger gusts, the air filled with falling and blowing snow.

3.5cm of fresh snow since 0900, most of it in the last hour and a half. Today was the second latest 'ice day' I've recorded in the last 50 years.

Overcast all day, periods of rain, heavy to very heavy at times, especially late morning. Fresh to strong ESE wind, and very cold feeling. Just the hint of sleet at times. Only intermittent light rain and drizzle since 1600.
