heavy snow here some huge flakes considering colour of echoes compared to last week on same colours

Bit of snow in Preston this morning slightly heavier, but not showing any signs of sticking.

Looks like its been snowing during the night over to the East, some of Bowland Fells have snow on them this morning can't see the Lakeland hills as the cloud base is too low at the moment.

Watching the news last night some of those pictures from the IOM look pretty scary, i've never seen snow like that before. Remarkable really when you think its on a small island stuck out in the middle of the Irish Sea.
