Quite a wild, wet and windy morning. It's been a long time since I've been woken up by rain lashing the window. 

Fairly mild too at 11.2C. A day for indoor jobs I think.

wow what a turn a round with the temperatures

the low here was at 2000 last evening with 10.9C since then it has risen all the time and is now on 14.7C with quite a brisk breeze from the SW, 6/8 cloud with a mix of Sc some Ac and Ci

It is the first Sunday morning here with a +ve temperature minimum since 17 March which had a low of 1.3C!

Variable cloud overnight with a few clear spells through the early hours. Low 2.4c with –1.0c on the grass. The day dawned with clear spells, clouding over for a short time througn the morning before more broken skies arrived from the south around 08:30 GMT. At observation, bright with sunny spells. There were further sunny spells through the morning before it turned overcast just before lunch. There was the odd spit of rain around this time, though it remained mostly dry until around late afternoon. Light rain commenced just before teatime.

Appalling day yesterday (the afternoon anyway), it felt more like a grim afternoon in November rather than a spring day, and today not much improvement. Overcast and very windy, and currently nudging 13c. So much for it warming up lol!

Yes certainly should be warnings issued for the wind. Hit 56 mph and now averaging f7 so I wouldn't like to be driving a high sided vehicle any where at the moment.

Half cloudy (the sun's in the cloudy half) and windy, 19.1C...

a truly extraordinary turn around in weather over the past 2 weeks. A high so far of 20.2C with a gust to 40mph with cloud varying from 2/8 to 6/8 Sc Ac and Ci. My first cup of coffee out in the back garden in spite of the wind. The rate of plant/flower/shrub growth can almost be watched. Flowers and shrubs in bloom that 2 weeks ago showed not the slightest sign of any life-welcome spring.

The expanding buds on the horse chestnut are quite evident now. Another week of this and it will be decently covered in leaves. After a sunny morning its clouded over a bit now but still bright with some sunny spels to be found on the odd occasion. Now 18.3c after an earlier high of 19.4c

Mostly cloudy with sunny spells and a very light shower earlier. A max temp of 20.2C so far, which means despite the very cold last couple of months its actually the third earliest date to reach 20C here in 34 years.

Currently 19.5C and 55% humidity.

Quite a turnaround, since 30th January this is actually only the third day to reach double figures!

A bit too far west here- mostly cloudy and windy with a high of 17.1C although there have been occasional sunny intervals since about 4pm. Certainly a much different feel to recent days with the humid tropical continental air mass.

A mild and windy day with the pitiful excuse of a cold front producing nothing more than a few brief and light showers during the afternoon.

Still at least 40 snow drifts visible from this site despite the high temperature. Snow drifts still 2 to 3 feet deep on the High Peak Trail about 4 miles north of here.
