Finally a lovely afternoon today, a slow start but lovely and warm after lunchtime, looks like a fairly grey week coming up but potential for some excitement Thursday hopefully!

Same here a lovely afternoon, Just finshed the garden and it was pleasant and an enjoyment to be out there, Still 18c but that sun is getting low now and will set in just over an hour

Really starting to feel like proper Autumn now Posted Image

this reminds me of a mid March to mid May setup, north sea misty low cloud, then sunny with fresh E wind, temps of around 18°C

but all change tomorrow, have a feeling tomorrow will be wet

Very decent charts for the weekend into next week again, nice & warm will do just nicely until Mid November.

Absolutely dark and miserable until Friday afternoon though, worst possible conditions, only good thing is it's slightly milder than most of the September grey spells.

There does seem to be the potential for some convective activity again on the 06z even tonight, and then again late Thursday.

Weekend looks gorgeous and springlike again, 18/19c with plenty of sunshine and continuing on into next week, that is on paper of course, I lost count of the number of days forecast to be nice that ended up stratofied this year .

A spell of moderate rain over the Malverns mid-morning, intensified over us and became quite heavy at one point. It's cleared up now, still grey skies but a lot lighter than earlier.

No shocks the thundery potential has completely vanished for tomorrow now Posted Image also last night that monstrous torrential downpour to the south fizzled into moderate rain over here then exploded again as soon as it passed through, I really think Telford is immune to any exciting weather Posted Image

Looks like the positivity has well and truly backfired once again for a long spell of clear sunny skies, the downgrade parade is well and truly in motion.

Met Office updates are usually the kiss of death for us , we may actually squeeze a nice day out of the tomorrow though now, probably much wetter Friday.

Very foggy here this morning, hill fog no doubt, still feels muggy, 13.9oC currently. Had around 12mm of rain yesterday. Looking at the radar there's a huge mass of intense precipitation with lots of lightning just heading over the Channel, possibly has our name on it?

From the Met O,.... Heavy, thundery, rain will spread from the south during Thursday and overnight into Friday with the potential for some torrential downpours in places.

Amounts of rain will be very variable, but locally 20-30 mm is possible within an hour and 40-50 mm within 3 hours.

Zzz as usual/expected bog standard plain old moderate rain with no thunder, no lightning, no downpour, no hail...need I say more Posted Image

Not so impressed with today's charts, yes high pressure, looks warm but seems classic example of good charts, 14c stratocumulus fest reality.

Sunday looks pretty nice, clear and 19c hopefully, that's probably it though, next week has cloudzilla written all over it.

Yet again today the temp peaked after sunset, hovered just above 16c all day then risen to 17.9c around 7pm, 17.7c now and feeling rather balmy (low was 15.5c last night).

Similar here Conor — 16C most of day, then shot up to 17C about 5-6pm, and now back down to 16C. Terribly exciting.

Next week could do with having sunzilla written all over it instead really (to balance out some of the cloudy weather that's been occurring this week).

Nice to see all the heavy rain missing here as per.

Coventry, like Telford, is a massive dead spot for weather action nowadays :-/

Out of no disrespect your post made me lol ...Quote "Terribly exciting" What that the temp shot up by 1c from 16c to 17c about 5-6pm then back down by 1c,

And that's Terribly exciting Posted Image Can't wait to see what you say when we have 6" of snow .....Posted Image
