According to the radar something is going to hit me soon. Already shown to be electric so c'mon don't die on me now :clapping:

Any real rain was over a month ago, what we've had since then has been very brief, very light stuff that doesn't really wet the ground.

Wow! That is harsh, no rain for a month! No wonder your garden is suffering!

Just had quite a large crack of thunder here, wasn't expecting it as it currently looks like the middle of November, dull, grey and rainy.

Just had the same here just down the road from you Meso.

The thin line of bright echos got middle age spread as it reached here and went flup! spread out and went all uninteresting.

Well, if it makes you feel any better (which it won't) I just get rain here too mostly, very rare to get thunder nowadays! :)

You cannot rain dodge forever! It will chuck it down eventually! :)

Think you have to live in MK and Lincolnshire for thunder these days! Wales does pretty well too!

Looks like an intense band of rain heading towards me. Bets on if it will dissipate before it gets here?

Don't keep your hopes up. The rain is drizzly in nature and nothing convective about it. Just one flash and a rumble here, currently still drizzling, wind non-existent. I'm hoping it's going to 'back-build' and produce something a little better but without any solar heating I can't see anything coming tonight!!

BREAKING NEWS!

We have rain, not heavy, but rain. I'm hoping it'll get heavier to give the garden a proper watering.

It's light rain, but at least it's being consistent. There may even be a puddle forming!

So.... We had heavy rain and hail here for about an hour between 4 and 5pm, where I was soaked, it was biblical, honestly, some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen.

Then, I heard some thunder in the distance at about 6:30, and from 7pm onwards, and until just now, it just didn't stop raining. Conveniently, I was stood outside between 7pm and 8:30pm watch my football team's pre-season training...

It was nice to hear thunder, and to get the heaviest rain I've seen..... BUT I'M SOAKED!
