Light sporadic rain here today. Feels pretty cool outside. Infact if I didn't know better I would say it was mid October, not mid July

No rain here, will it arrive later? Supposed to be a wet day here!

You're in the wrong bit of London. It hasn't stopped here since I got up at 7am. At one point it whilst I was out this morning it was so heavy the road drains couldn't cope. It's wet, damp and miserable. :(

Pouring with rain here for the last 20 mins after incessant rain since the early hours.

Looking at the radar returns places in Essex have had very heavy rain ALL day. - maybe some flooding.

Cool @ 13c.

The twelve hour rain totals show how the band has stalled and given some parts quite a soaking. Like Steve says, wouldn't be surprised at all if there was some local flooding.

Still dry here and if the rain band has stalled, then it might stay dry until it gets a kick up the backside and moves west!

As has been said it feels more like autumn than mid summer, first day in a long time that I've been uncomfortably cool in a t shirt

It's only up to 15C - I've had the heating on for an hour! Persistant rain all day, heavy at times. Very miserable for July.

Incessant rain all day, up to 10mm now. We had an enormous clap of thunder about 12, I checked the lightning radars and it appears to be the only strike in the uk today! Bizarre.

Cabbie took me to orpington station in the deluge. The station is flooded, but cabbie said that the weather was beautiful around heathrow.

Lickle bit of rain earlier here in Potters Bar, but now stopped. As pointed out above, more like October than July.

An aside, just downloaded a count down to xmas app, for the craic. 166 days to go.

Haha, Amazing how that always corresponds with the start of my pre-season.Thankfully, I'm at the age now where that doesn't effect me. I just shout at my players to put more effort in.

Under 24 weeks, don't you know.

Hasn't stopped raining here since 7 this morning with some of the rain heavy at times. Forecast on Beeb last night completely wrong and even on bbc weather app this morning at 7am said light rain stopping at 9am.Annoying when you have to work outside and lose a days work.Rant over.

The front of the band has arrived here now with light rain, I assume the heavy stuff is on it's way. band seems to be moving through much more quickly.

Been another warm, dry and sunny day here, too warm almost now the wind has died down since yesterday the heat/stillness of the air is noticable more.

Rain falling a lot lighter now. We also have some minor flooding around some of the smaller roads.
