Hot, sunny and breezy here in the New Forest...strimmed the *lawn* earlier but to knackered to finish the gardening...sitting in the sunshine!

The difference a few miles makes.

From Cromer to home is about 6 miles as the crow flies.

The left hand picture is Cromer church at 15:00,

the right hand picture is home at 16:25.

Cloud still looks capped even though the temperature is well into the 20's

27.9c! Place full of ants here, getting cloudy! Is it their time of the month, or has the heat bought them out, or is a storm on the way, or can't ants tell the weather, a bit like the BBC and met office! Just saying! :p :p :p :p :p

Was at Hemsby six/seven weeks ago and on the coast was cloudy, cool and windy, got inland a few miles and sunshine, warm and little wind about.

Your constant mentioning of the MetO/BBC and them being 'wrong' is getting vey boring, I must say! *rolls eyes* :D

Considering the warning only came into effect 47 minutes ago, and also the MetO mentioned it was low risk, and isolated storms, you don't have much patience, do you? :D

Do you work for the met office? If so, I'll give it until 5.30pm!:p

Nope, just can't stand the constant bashing of them when we're barely into the 'prime period'You are aware that if you miss out but other areas in the warming see storms, the MetO will have been correct? Not every location can see storms I'm afraid all year round! :DMaybe have a go at forecasting yourself some time? :p

I don't know about that, last few days were correct, and the storms/showers on Tuesday were mentioned by both the MetO and BBC :p

Lately? They've been ass about face ever since they used those awful graphics! Spent more time panning across the damn screen and fancy brown than correctly forecasting weather. It isn't just storms but cloud in general!

Thankfully we have SOME good net weather forecasters that I take note of every day :)

The problem is people tend to note the latest forecast rather than the ones earlier in the day or day before :)
