Had the storm right over us, then at first to the East then rotating round

It is coming my way, looking at the radar. And a cell has spawned over Central London. Possible urban heat effect, at play. Quite a loud boom then... Kent and Essex have dove very well in the past few days.

I thought storms were forecast for the East? Not the East Midlands *cough*

Anyway, now cool and cloudy, thanks to the remnants of something near the coast. Humidity has disappeared too. Barely nudging 21C, joggers back on and hoodie at the ready.....

Noticed on the Radar the cells are going round over the SE, then more are moving down from the NW what is causing this??

Really strange looking on the Radar its not moving just going around

this is strange.. storm development above me,, which seems to have stalled another north east of me, another south east of me just starting to get darker bases.. and the wind is picking up,, which is lovely and cool through the window,, and just had one loud thunder out of all that.. its like as if they dunno what to do!!

New cell just fired up out of nowhere just north of Colchester.

No sun here at the moment after the earlier storm. Still 21.7C and feeling very close though.

im surrounded here.. massive development happening south of me bromley/biggin hill area.. thunder is getting more constant

My god! The t&l has stopped but the rain just keeps falling! Flooding i reckon and i certainly wouldn't want to be driving in this. Need to check the radar.

Lovely thunder and lightning here for the past 30 minutes. First storm of the weekend!

A large shower is visible to the south-east of me here in Ealing and I can hear fairly regular rumbles of thunder

been keeping an eye on lightning radar and also the sky and its definitely got a stormy feel and it's quite close to us on radar.. 

Actually now i am typing I am hearing the odd little distant rumble
