Stopped here now, well over an inch in an hour. The trees in the garden look like White Christmas trees.

Yes wierpig and looks more to come did you expect this ppn must have tracked further south

no i certainly didnt expect the intensity of the showers  not so much hit and miss as last night.  also looking at the radar  the north west of the country  seems quite dry  so maybe it has come a little south

Did we tony that was a bit before my time. The only snow i know that's being any good round here would be feb 2009. early 90's and march 2013. we just seem to miss out on a lot probably all feel we have the worst county going.

No, we'll put you in charge of wood chopping

Wow, really coming down! Big flakes as well!

Bish

Suits me, I love chopping wood! (That's the ex-scout leader coming out in me :) )

So, finally we get some real snow. Huzzah! And even better, it's daylight and I can see it falling without having to get my retinas burnt out staring at these new led street lights they've put up in our road!

Exactly! Overnight snow just isn't the same, unless it's a massive fall of course.

Still coming down strong here, everything white. Wasn't expecting this at all.
