All forcasts have it over wales in to the midlands as far as the west side of birmingham then pulling away south east over the cotswolds. However you never know does seem fast moving and slightly further east.

pp.jpgtake from the model thread  after math of this polar low

Stolen from the Polar Low thread in fact from GTLTW.  :p  Indeed, a hoax courtesy of an internet search, I trust I didn't fool anyone, back to being an angel from here on in, I promise

Polar low alert for ireland warning just issued. seems to be tracking a tiny bit further east than forecast and alot more ppn around it so could be good.

With whom :)

Light sleety rain here. Right now, we need intensity for snow. With slightly warmer temps, we'd need something more. I still think those at 200m+ have a decent chance tonight. Me? Nah. Good luck to all, though!

I think it's due to hit around midnight onwards, the track isn't exactly nailed down yet but if it does hit your location then it's going to be great for you.

Another heavy snow shower. Settling very easily, nice dry snow.

Temp is only 0.4c here, can't hear any dripping when I pop my head outside either.

The way it's going it's going to get to here/Welshpool/Leicester/Peterborough (delete as appropriate) before midnight.

Yep, but it's still stuck on 18:45  :nonono:

Perhaps give Rain-Alarm.com a go? Better than nothing.

Bish

I'm getting through to 21:45

I'm like a child on Christmas Eve. Even if it does miss here, sure is an exciting evening.
