Netweather forecast changed its tune, now says snow through tomorrow, monday and tuesday.... Even torrential snow tomorrow....

Bbc/met going for snow tomorrow too.... Was sleet/rain yesterdays forecast....

After brief lull its snowing moderately again.... Can see the snowline.... Glossop green hills around all white....

Now seen falling snow during all three winter months. Last time that happened was 2009-10.

 

Another reason as to why people should stop moaning about how garbage this winter has been then...

MET Office now extended snow warning until Tuesday for NW England,so after tomorrows rain most places at risk

 

for the next 48hrs for sleet/snow showers

Well weve just had a heavy sleet then snow shower from that last band,didnt stick though and suns back out

Same here think it will be a repeat of last time where without being inland with elevation will just be rain/sleet mix

Winds picked up in the last half hour ,cold out with dog as I will soon find out !!!.

Just walked into Chorley today and while at the Wetherspoons it was snowing just for 2 minutes then its just sleety rain.  It was shocking too I thought it would be too mild for snow to come down this far down. I thought it meant to be occur over 150 metres according to the weather warning!

 

I had Chicken Jafrezi with rice. Its only £4.50 with Hot Chocolate.
