Had a few hail showers today..had one flash of lightening and a clap of thunder lastnight

Just walked into Chorley today and while at the Wetherspoons it was snowing just for 2 minutes then its just sleety rain.  It was shocking too I thought it would be too mild for snow to come down this far down. I thought it meant to be occur over 150 metres according to the weather warning!

 

I had Chicken Jafrezi with rice. Its only £4.50 with Hot Chocolate.

 Looks like the showers Monday/Tuesday will be heavier and more widespread than today.

 

 Quite a wintry outlook from the METO

 

 Sleet/snow showers Monday/lasting throughout Tuesday.although accumulation PROBALY been restricted

 

 to high ground

 

 Todays showers have put down brief coverings,so I see no reason not to see the same Mon/Tue

 

 Also would not rule out a streamer or two,perhaps prolonging the PPN

Managing to dodge all the showers today, just been for a walk on the shore it's freezing in the wind! Only 5c.

Heavy grauple shower just going through and now stopped. 

I like this snow, pretty when you wake up, gone by mid morning so doesn't interfere with doing anything and hopefully will be back again tonight.  I love snow(obsession) but hate ice!!
