Happy with 25C personally.

Today looks great for a day in the garden.

Some lovely Summery conditions at the moment. Good sunny spells with convective pieces of cloud around. Temperature around 20.4*C, but feels much warmer in the strong sun.

I'm also happy with GFS trend to make this a shorter hot spell, wed-fri, still looks painfully hot, but much cooler on Saturday maybe a developing trend

The Met Office Melted Chocolate Teapot Forecast (aka five-day auto-forecast) now going for 28 °C here on Tuesday and 31 °C on Wednesday. I think those are the highest figures I've seen predicted for Bewdley from this. A much more pleasant 22 °C here today.

Pleased to see that tomorrow's rain has been downgraded a bit, with maybe even some brightness later on. :)

Steady moderate to heavyish rain here since about 7:30.

Showing 3.6mm so far.

Temp at 14.2C and looking like the next shower approaching.

All good news as the garden needed watering!

Still looking like storms on wed/thursday here after 30C .

That is a nice chart, and something to wet the thundery appetite for those looking forward to the very warm and possibly stormy conditions this week. :)

After a damp morning, it looks as though the Solihull Rain Shield has regained power and the Sunshine Shield has lost power. Some reasonable sunny spells with the temperature currently at the 20*C mark.

Back in 1989 I was in Pwllheli when a tornado / whirlwind type thing hit. That's the moment I got interested in weather. Messed up the holiday mind...

At the moment, the Midlands is the hotspot for upcoming severe storms - for once. London will probably get few while we will steal them all

The whole Midlands? Or will some areas (read Shropshire) get nothing?

I really, really hope this heatwave comes off. Anything less than 27C here will be a let down, 30 just for once would be nice. And sunshine, let's not have one of those plumes that's spoilt by excessive unforecast cloud down the western side of Britain...

not sure about that, GFS precip charts look pants, missing out completely on Wed night, and look scattered Friday night, and nothing modeled during the day at all

Its all part of the plan, the hotter air is now being pumped into the system offshore Spain and should be reaching our shores by early tomorrow morning.

Yes, by late tomorrow afternoon the heat will be over the entire region and pretty much all of England and Wales. Which gives us one genuinely scorching day on Wednesday, a brief respite on Thursday, and then a return to very warm/hot conditions on Friday into early Saturday. Plus lots of thundery potential  :)
