Still only 23C here though very muggy with more sunshine, why on earth is it colder here than up in the Peak? The Shropshire heatwave shield in action....

Forecasts for North Mids and Northern England were correct!

Lots of develoment to our south now. Worcester, Hereford, Bromsgrove. It's got to happen here soon!

Absolutely nothing within 30 miles of here, what a surprise. All going east of the Pennines, Birmingham, Gloucs etc. The wind has somehow turned NW this afternoon and still stuck on 23C despite quite a bit of sun since 1pm.

Hereford/Worcs/Gloucs storms never make it, they either veer off to Brum or die over the hills to our south. Only hope with this wind direction is something firing up in N Wales.

Quite a messy sky around here but according to the radar, it's fairly solid to the south. Quite a bit of activity in the storm near Kidderminster. That should have our name on it!

Sky suddenly full of haze and patches of Sc, no doubt leftovers from everyone else's storms. Can see that lot down by Hereford is dying out, the Kidderminster one is veering to Brum. So, so predictable!

Storm passed us with several rumbles of thunder followed by some heavy rain, now the sun's coming out. Still hot and humid, 25.1^oC.

Nothing in Warwickshire., but storms are doing a very good job at avoiding the Central Midlands

Just got back from Brum, 27c there hot sunny spells, should of stayed longer looking at the radar as all kicking off around there now!
