apart from sporadic flashes and a few distant rumbles , its a bit of a disappointment up here after watching the bbc graphics have lightning symbols all over us from 1200pm onwards but not much in the south, in reality its all about the south ,  which seemed it was going to more sporadic down there and more lively up here, sorry bbc/ meto a bit off again

According to Sat24 too the Anvils of all storms have come into touch with each other too!

 

After passing through the midlands let's see this grow into a home grown MCS aye!

Gorgeous peeps, everyone get up out of bed now and look, super dooper, although no damn forks and I don't know how to take a lightning picture with a bloody iPhone but it is all magic, loud and warm and many flashes, don't know which side of the house to watch from, London side winning at the moment.

Indeed I understand it is always a hit and miss game but having an interest in storms can get so frustrating and especially on nights like this so many places got/are getting/are likely to get, hammered. Really is a shame I could not travel tonight - all the action isn't exactly too far away.
