The minimum today is 15.4C while maxima look like climbing to near 27C, so an increase to 16.4C is likely on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

16.6C to the 23rd (20.3: +4.2)
16.5C to the 24th (14.5: -1.6)
16.4C to the 25th (13.5: -2.3)
16.3C to the 26th (15.0: -0.7)
16.3C to the 27th (16.9: +1.5)
16.3C to the 28th (16.2: +1.0)
16.3C to the 29th (16.0: +0.7)
16.3C to the 30th (14.5: -1.0)
16.2C to the 31st (13.8: -1.4)

The average today looks like being around 21C, so a good chance of getting into the top 5 warmest for the day (needs 20.7C for that) but little chance of beating the daily record, 22.1C.

Looking ahead, a finish now of between 15.8 and 16.8C before corrections looks likely, so 15.4 to 16.8C after correction. It also look like the lowest point of this month will be the 1st, the direct opposite of July.

So it looks like all 3 summer months will come in slightly below average, so overall a below par summer but its been a reasonable one for quite a good portion of the UK, including here

I suspect the NW station will have recorded a max in the low 20s today whereas hop across the pennines and we were seeing 26c. But there is no station there.

Sunny Sheffield at 16.2C. A cooler night than predicted prevented it going higher. Another bump today should take it 16.4C

Pretty happy with my 16c estimation if BFTV's calculations come to fruition. :)

The minimum today is 13.6C while maxima look like reaching close to 21C, so remaining on 16.3C on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

16.3C to the 27th (15.5: +0.1)
16.2C to the 28th (15.5: +0.4)
16.2C to the 29th (15.2: -0.1)
16.2C to the 30th (17.0: +1.5)
16.2C to the 31st (15.5: +0.3)

So a finish between 16.0 and 16.4C before corrections, and 15.6 to 16.4C after corrections. My guess would be a final figure of 15.9C

The number of very near average CET months continues.. it is becoming an exceptionally average year.

I like that, "exceptionally average" :D

Minimum today of 11.8C, with maxima likely to be close to 19C. Tomorrow looks like having a minimum in the 13s with a max of around 16 or 17C.

Almost certain to finish on 16.1C before corrections now, so a range of 15.6C to 16.1C after corrections. So a summer about 0.7C below the 81-10 average seems likely.

I had hoped my lower predicition of 15.6c would mean we'd get something a lot warmer it appears not and infact I won't be that far off

Indeed very pleased with my 16c too. Could get my second bang on estimate of the year. :)
