Well I never! A touch of the white nectar dripping from the skies!

It's the lightest snow you'll ever see - but it is SNOW!!

Morning everyone, we have snow here too, so light I thought I was imagining it but it's definitely snow. Nice way to start a Monday morning :)

Wow a winter of desperation, a photo of a single snowflake, a couple of graupel and some frost. Well done you have all the elements caught in a single photo that we have waited some 3 months to see.:search:

Colleague here in work said even Exmouth had snow this morning! That must be rare!

Three months of Winter with not a snowflake in sight, seven days into Spring and we've had falling snow on two days, laying snow on one. I don't think it's anything unusual but it is frustrating. A cold Easter and by my reckoning, probably mid April before we can expect Spring to arrive properly, I'm expecting the warm up mid week and into next weekend to be a temporary blip.

Have you got Photoshop? Crop the frosty pebble, copy and paste more images of the biggest snowflake, dot them around the pebble, add a seasonal message and voila! your very own Christmas Card to get printed up, the red background's perfect.

I hope Mapantz is awake he might just get to see the rare snowflake before the temperatures rise too much..

Oops too late it's cruised by and is to our west so no hope here..

Yes even a slight snow shower this morning in Kilmersdon at 200ft. Surprisingly sharp frost this morning despite little hoar frost visible on the fields

Snow reported at home and laying, until it stopped and now melted.

Very light snow falling in Aztec West too. Looking across to Wales while driving up the M5 I could also make out the snow curtains over there too. Nice to see albeit a rather pathetic attempt.

Yep, this is what the months of great anticipation before/during winter have built up to..

Yes I looked at the Exmouth webcam as the radar showed a shower to the west and could make out light snow falling

All this talk of a 'warmer' spell this coming weekend, though the N-W 'feel like' temperature don't rise above 10C for both weekend days. Perhaps it won't be as pleasant as some think it will.

The sun is already very pleasant when it shines - I suspect it won't take much for it to feel quite spring like with a base temp of 10 deg C and then some strong March sun (as strong as mid September). This time of year can see crazy swings of weather - from walking in the snow on friday night to possibly cracking out the shorts next weekend...

frost overnight, but all cleared by the time I went out at 8. Weather station is reading 5 degrees ,but in the sunshine it's pleasantly warm. I hung out the washing in fairly light clothing. Felt very spring like with the birds twittering. They know spring is on the way. Now let's look forward to a decent spell of sunshine for the first time in 3 years:wallbash:
