Pretty much sums up the Bristol winter. (actually it doesn't because that is the most snowy ppn radar I've seen for a couple of years).

Glad to see some others in the thread got luckier.

Well, my day seems a far cry from most of yours! It was wet when I woke up but looking at temperatures when it fell it would have been rain. Apart from that, had a singular hail shower which lasted all of about a minute. Otherwise, nice sunny spells until the frontal cloud rolled in about 3/4 ish and started raining about 6, then it's stayed that way since - Rain :(

A sad indictment when all I can do is hark back 6/7 years for any kind of snow at all.

The usual sleety rubbish here but I've got to travel to Bristol early tomorrow morning... that could be an interesting journey.

Enjoy, we've not got time to get out anywhere unfortunately. My garden must be a microclimate as there's no snow left but next door there is!

Most frustratingly this should be the first morning since we moved here over 3 years ago with a properly snowy Cley Hill to view and, drum roll, the mist is too thick so cannot see that far!

A few flakes of snow here in Reading, already turning to sleet. Only the second time we've seen anything wintry this season (the first was a light dusting in January that quickly turned to rain). Temperature 2.0.

Morning all, pleased to report we didn't get any rain overnight. There's still a covering in the garden/on the decking but roads and roofs are clear, it's melting fast but happy to at least have had some.

A slight hail stone shower yesterday at 2pm, but rain showers all week, no snow or sleet here.

We didn't even get a rooftop event, but had a heavy snow shower at 8am. Lasted all of 5 minutes and didn't settle

Hopes now turning to a bit of spring warmth, with BB off to Fuerteventura, CardiffJay to Dominican and I'm visiting Knocker's neck of the woods down in St. Ives, hoping that these kind of synoptics will make it to T24:

Well we had a good covering over night which was thawing slowly when I left this morning but at least it gives me one snow day for march.

Felt so good to throw snowballs outside pub last night. :D I can move on with my life and embrace spring now although I will keep a keen eye out for any late chances of white stuff as we all know it can and often does happen around Easter time.
