There is a 'finger' of ppn heading North through Sussex and Surrey towards West Kent and East London right now... Looks to be building slightly as well!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a surprise overnight??!!

Race against time to see anything wintry this morning if your not up already not sure you will even see the frost (that's if you got frost out)

The ppn is steaming down south towards us, but the temp in an hour or so will begin to rise of that ppn ain't here by then it will rain

The precipitation is about 10 miles away from my location, still a frost outside. Fingers crossed for at least something.

It has arrived and it is rain/drizzle causing the frost to melt instantly.

In the end a couple of brief spells of moderate snow, the little stuff was just rain though.

To be fair, based on the forecasts over the past couple of days it was looking just like an all rain event so actually we got an upgrade this time around.
