What a lovely day. Reached 25C here with clear skies for most of the day. Am a touch 'sunkissed' from several hours on the allotment.

Less wind feels stickier already hopefully sea breeze will pick up soon.

A low below 10c is always good.

Looks like we could miss any rain today.

Wonderful summer's morning with blue sky, gentle breeze and temp already up to 17.2C.

So who will see the heavy thundery showers later this afternoon? Here's a few forecasts which are generally in agreement (although NMM, strangely, has NO rain in our Region at 16.00!! Looks like East Anglia will miss out this time, although Essex might just get in on the action.

I think one or two of us might catch quite a storm later IF they spark.

Convergence zones? Check

Sun out and warming things up? Check

Spark?  Check

Energy in atmosphere?  Check

Heathrow now up to 17 already

I mean, what could possibly go wrong lol!!

Lovely morning here, 18C already, a bit of mid level cloud floating about but still sunny with little wind.

Expecting nothing on the south coast later, expect everything to be in land (as usual) will be lucky to get a few distant rumbles.

Roll on a decent French important, one fine day in the middle of the night.

It's even warm here this morning, currently 19.2, so nearing top temp over this period of nice weather already. Sky completely clear.

As Carol Kirkwood pointed out this morning on BBC Breakfast. Any showers will be very hit and miss.

I hope my location is a miss, why do I want a fair summers day spoilt by a heavy rain shower with a rumble of thunder that wets the ground, so you then cant sit out in the garden when you get home from work.

All I can say is wow, the breeze from the last week has died overnight and temperature is at 19.1c already! Definitely wasn't expected up on the coast here. Wall to wall blue skies here since Sunday cloud disappeared aswell!

Yep tons of mid-upper level rubbish ruining the sunshine here too now, sigh. Warm still at 23C.

Cells popping off all over the south of London I think it's to do with that

Can see a few small thundery showers on satellite pics south of Brighton. Not amounting to much as yet though. Met Office have our region under a warning for storms though. I'd rather have the sun back lol.

My spies on the skies tells me it's a nice day in MK at the moment, with instruction to tell me other wise.

Can see cloud bubbling up though the high level stuff, very calm here no breeze, very odd. Not feeling too bad at the mo with the black door open, but it shall be a fun walk to school later.

3pm or nothing. The summer storms rule is back \o/
