Biscay lighting up nicely , wonder if we shall see them in a few hours time ?

Supposedly, the atmospheric instability here is dropping, so it's likely that they'll weaken, even if they get here.  Of course, that doesn't mean to say they won't...:)

GFS/ARGEPE owned the Met today - yesterday, the Met were 100 miles too far east, barely had Kent touching 30 and everywhere else cooler, while the other models I mentioned were spot on. Could it be the same for tomorrow? At least 100 miles difference again, and that will make all the difference in getting the SE clear of the front to the west. GFS partially achieves that and looking good for 30-32C in places, ARGEPE touching 30.

Didn't drop below 20C here. Very thundery looking skies this morning. Looking at the satellite cloud should clear soon and temps will rocket up again. Might see some storms later on...

Just a few drops of rain here overnight. Some early cloud clearing and currently hazy sunshine and up to 20C at 08.10. The local Look East forecast on the Beeb has a max of 25C on their graphic for EA, although the presenter said "possibly up to 27C in one or two places". Certainly this morning's Arpege looking fairly downbeat re temps for today (particularly for EA).

And this morning's GFS suggesting a disappointing start to the Bank Holiday weekend for our neck of the woods:

Hot here already. Clouds are very light and scattered. The cold front clearly not even made it to here. There will need to be a big change to stop 30C being reached again in our area.

Poring worse than yesterday here, phew. Nice and sunny with feather clouds and contrails. already 25 degrees, wind blowing from the ene which did let the temp drop last night down to 17.7, could tell the difference out side as soon as the breeze started. Other than feeling cool while it's blowing doesn't seen to be doing much to cool things down now though. difference seems to be humidity, still up at 66 where yesterday it was between 30-40 through most of the day. dp still up at 18.8 which I think is higher than yesterday too.

Cold front won't move through until tomorrow, so you have to suffer a bit longer!

Just brought one of those Hot Bin compostors  making space and getting it ready.
Hoping to get some quick compost from it, they are supposed to be very good.

Been mostly cloudy here this morning after a boiling start, but clouds starting to break again and temps back on the way up, nearly 26C - so areas like yours Cableguy probably going to get some more sunny spells in the next couple of hours.

Stansted already at 28C. Satellite showing little cloud from E Sussex right up the east side of London and up to Norfolk. 30C is going to reached somewhere quite easily, in fact, I'd think 90F is possible again.

They look impressive, what size? Would like to know how it works out for u and if worth getting.

Cloudy here after some sun earlier. Feeling warm and humid, currently 25C. Hopefully this cloud will bugger off soon!

It's raining out:sorry:

Just looked on radar, a clump of rain over London not related to the front in the west, let's see if it does anything, it's quite a big cap break, but not sure if it will keep growing or just rain it's self out.
