Not sure if it quite made 32c here in East London but a solid 31c and very hot with our usual friendly breeze from the Estuary absent.

Sun gone in here and a light breeze. darker cloud now to my south and west. too hot too cook, so hubs ordered bbq pizza.

Well predicted by the models, the temperatures are really falling away up here now as that NE wind freshens and now the cloud is thickening up from the south and west.

Looks like Gravesend does it's usual thing and pips somewhere else to the hottest maximum of the day at 33.9C.

Still a couple of cracking days for this region, hopefully we will get some thunderstorms over the next couple of days.

Not a breath of wind, everything is roasting house garden walls floors.

The Thames is mirror flat calm.

Clouded over about 4:30 this afternoon but now the blue sky is returning . Lovely day hoping for a lightning show later

Sky looks heavy, had a few heavy blobs earlier.

Had some ac cas come through here a little while ago, all that was left off the little bit of shower that was east of the main stuff.

Just had quite a heavy brief shower that is developing as it passed leaving that lovely smell when it has not rained for a while
