I'm at 2.4'c, but I'm right in the middle of town . 76% humidity, so no chance of fog

its gonna be a cold night tonight.... would be surprised if it went down to -5c here.... still some interest in the MOD thread and you kind of get the feeling that its going to switch out of the blue... a sudden snap to either very cold and snow or wet and mild.... im fancying a 87/91 Easterly... biting cold and more snow than we know what to do with.....

December January and February is my hope HLB for all 3 months a screaming N/E swinging round to E....snow piled up on the side of the roads airports closed shops running out of stuff... British Gas making huge profits from us all using our heating all day everyday...... other wise winters a bust....lol.... in reality 2 cold spells lasting for 7 to 10 days each...

Hi fellow midlanders... I've asked santa (the wife) for an amateur weather station for Christmas, can anyone please recommend one? I'd like to start adding my imbyism to this valuable and educational thread :cold:

Thanks in advanced

You can spend a small fortune on weather stations....your Davis professionals etc, but if your looking for something basic or simply just has the WOW factor ???

Here's a couple of good sites that have a mixture of prices

 http://www.weatherspares.co.uk

https://www.weathershop.co.uk/shop/weather-stations/home-weather-stations

 interesting reading.... http://www.davisnet.com/product_documents/weather/catalog_pages/Weather_Catalog.pdf
