 No rain since Monday here.

Blimey! We've already had a few heafty showers (rain). Going dark again. I can see Crosby from here, just goes to show the difference within a few miles.

Suggests there may be some snow around - there was no way we were ever going to be dry here with any kind of w/rly direction to the wind.

Looking at Chris's post above - we've had rain every day this week as well

Weird, I hope that's not a sign of things to come.  Maybe I was close to a down draft hence why the temp dropped so quick before and then recovered.

Which part of the    Wirral  are you in BTW?

So I know the GFS is not a great model to use for Rainfall amounts but according to this http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/ol4_2qn

I am expecting 8cm of snow Thursday and Friday..... It will be interesting to see how this changes during the next 3 GFS runs (keeping in mind the development down south)

Even if we miss out on the snow, the models still show a decent outlook to me. So all wouldn't be lost.

Crosby is a weird place; it has a microclimate all of it's own, but not always in a negative way.

I assure you Chris wallasey is just as bad. I do recall times when we've had snow an Liverpool didn't and vise versa. I remember 1 time dry as a bone here, drove through the tunnel to work and there was an inch of snow in lpool.
