Indeed have a very fine drizzle a short while back didn't last long

Currently, according to NW (which also says it's sunny!) it's 2C around here, and the cloud is thickening all the time. I wouldn't entirely rule out some sleet or wet snow, come early morning - wind-strength permitting - but, neither am I getting my hopes up. It is, let's face it, a wee bit early?

Bootle? I presume you are not talking about the Bootle in Merseyside.

The only other Bootle I can find on Google is in Cumbria

Cm of snow on the grass, 0.5C on the thermometer. Very early dose of lying snow, hopefully a sign of things to come!

A few cm's here in a low (ish) lying area of God's own county, been snowing constantly since early morning...bit slushy mind you ..but hey..it's the white stuff!!....been a long while since I've seen a snowfall on the 9th November !!

seems we had a couple of cm's overnight at village level but I missed it as was away with work!

 

more higher up obviously and it's still all white over Grizedale Forest. chilly 3 deg when I got home at 3:30...
