Possible Snow Event 8th/9th November

Nothing falling from the sky even though looking at the radar it should be, currently 4.1 degrees

Indeed have a very fine drizzle a short while back didn't last long

Not expecting anything here (snow wise)

Currently, according to NW (which also says it's sunny!) it's 2C around here, and the cloud is thickening all the time. I wouldn't entirely rule out some sleet or wet snow, come early morning - wind-strength permitting - but, neither am I getting my hopes up. It is, let's face it, a wee bit early?:D

Has to be at least 5cm lying now with snow still falling heavily. This is turning into quite a doozy of a snow event for early November!! :yahoo:

A few cm's here in a low (ish) lying area of God's own county, been snowing constantly since early morning...bit slushy mind you ..but hey..it's the white stuff!!....been a long while since I've seen a snowfall on the 9th November !! :D:cold:

All melted now, but it was a good surprise to wake up too

seems we had a couple of cm's overnight at village level but I missed it as was away with work!

 

more higher up obviously and it's still all white over Grizedale Forest. chilly 3 deg when I got home at 3:30...
