Tuesday night into Wednesday morning looking quite interesting with that mini low moving through as shown on the 12z GFS. Will probably change next run of course.

Mod thread going into meltdown over another Easterly in FI......

Hope double standards are not coming into play, ramping of a NWly and someone told to do it in the regional thread whilst an easterly can freely be ramped in that thread...

I’m flying into Liverpool Monday morning. Renting a car for an overnight work stay in Morecambe. Leaving Morecambe on Tues at lunch - I’m a bit worried about driving a rental in snow - would the M62 be ok to drive by lunch ... I’d imagine gritters will have been out and other cars during the morning would help make it easier to drive (that’s if I’m right in thinking that area between Morecambe and Liverpool is to be hit with snow?

UKMO /GFS look excellent next week.

But every forecast i have watched today looks very very underwhelming for our region.

I've no doubt we will have the precipitation, but the question is how important altitude will be. The airport TAFs will be of great interest, especially the ones issued later on Monday.

Modele GFS - Carte prévisions

Well it looks like the NW is definitely going to get most of the precipitation.

My house under the purple blob.

hope its snow.

I really wish there was a zoom on Postcode on those maps and never can be quite sure where i am, as the smallest shift is a massive change in precipitation forecast

What you thinking about your chances for Crewe?

Will be borderline as to whether we see enough precipitation from the showers IMO

As an FYI for anyone who gets banned from the model thread, make sure you keep a not and ask the mods to unban you when it expires.I had a fortnight ban last 2 years because I only log on here if I think it might snow and the model thread much less....
